What is Jitter Clicking?
Jitter clicking involves tensing your arm and wrist muscles to create rapid involuntary vibrations that translate into rapid mouse button presses. It typically achieves 12-16 CPS and is widely used by Minecraft PvP players.
How to Jitter Click
- Position your hand firmly on the mouse, engaged wrist slightly tensed.
- Tighten your arm and forearm muscles slightly.
- The vibration from the tension should naturally trigger rapid clicks.
- Start with 10-second sessions — jitter clicking can cause fatigue.
Is Jitter Clicking Safe?
Jitter clicking can cause wrist and arm strain with prolonged use. Limit sessions to a few minutes and take breaks to prevent repetitive strain injury (RSI). If you feel pain, stop immediately.
Jitter Clicking in Games
Unlike butterfly or drag clicking, jitter clicking is generally allowed on most Minecraft servers and is considered a legitimate skill. It's also widely used in other PvP games where high CPS provides a competitive edge.
How is CPS Calculated?
CPS stands for Clicks Per Second. The formula is simple:
CPS = Total Clicks ÷ Time in Seconds
For example: 35 clicks in 5 seconds = 7.0 CPS. Our test calculates this in real time as you click.
